Company Profile
Handheld Productions was established in 2003 by director/cameraman
Douglas Campbell. Douglas has worked for the last 25 years
as a cameraman for the BBC and in the freelance market. More
recently he has co-produced and acted as director / cameraman
on Raploch Stories, a 6 part documentary series for BBC Scotland.
Handheld
Productions is currently involved in developing a network
series for BBC TV for which a funded pilot has already been
produced. The company also has projects in development with
ITV and Channel 4.
On
top of this Douglas was awarded a BAFTA in 2004, for his
work on "In Search of the Tartan Turban". View

Douglas
was previously awarded the 2003 Award of Merit by the Guild
of Television Cameramen for his work on Force 10 Rescue. |
