Sitting between the river and the imposing presence of Stirling Castle, Raploch, with its tough reputation, was for years regarded as virtually a 'no-go' area. Faded from the front pages, Raploch is now quietly turning itself around with a programme of renewal. As houses began to be pulled down, a small television production crew spent a year recording the hopes and aspirations of a variety of people living and working in Raploch.
