Douglas has worked for the last 25 years as a cameraman for the BBC and in the freelance market. More recently he has co-produced and directed Raploch Stories, a 6 part documentary series for BBC Scotland.


On top of this Douglas was awarded a BAFTA, for his work on "In Search of the Tartan Turban"


Douglas was previously awarded the Award of Merit by the Guild of Television Cameramen for his work on Force 10 Rescue.
