Raploch Stories

A series of 6 half-hour documentaries for BBC Scotland, looking at the varied lives and aspirations of the residents of the Raploch Housing estate. Sitting between the river and the imposing presence of Stirling Castle, Raploch, with its tough reputation, was for years regarded as virtually a 'no-go' area. Faded from the front pages, Raploch is now quietly turning itself around with a programme of renewal. As houses began to be pulled down, a small television production crew spent a year recording the hopes and aspirations of a variety of people living and working in Raploch.
